Mario 64 was fun for me. I didn't like the new Super Mario Bros. I kept bumping into the other players and dying. Mario Galaxy I haven't played but it looks awesome.

For me it's gotta be The New Super Mario Bros. I know it's not the newest and Galaxy 2 was really amazing, but seeing one of the first games I ever played with a new coat of polish and new features was awesome. And its handheld to boot.
