Why did the makers of NBA 2K11 add Michael Jordan into 2k11?
Why did they choose to bring him into the game now?

Because most years they make a game that is supposed to be focused on the NBA this year, and the real players in the league.
They decided to put Michael Jordan in the game this year to try and boost sales most likely.
