Q. 1. Developer Sucker Punch has mentioned the possibility of multiplayer as a potential feature. But it was merely a rumor. (To my knowledge)
They said single player campaign is their main focus and then we're going to look at multiplayer after and see if it fits in.
Q. 2. And about the chick COME ON does anyone like to be surprised anymore?
I don't think anyone should answer that if they know. Just be patient you will learn when you play the game.

I doubt they'll have multiplayer. Sucker Punch isn't on the same level as other studios as far as designing stuff like that. They seem to have improved a great deal with the new Infamous.
