Is the Fallout New Vegas dlc Dead money fun and is it worth it?

I'm wondering if I should get dead money because all my friends haven't bought it yet and they are waiting for my ok. Some say not worth the buy and time, others say it is awesome. Suggestions?

Naah, I was dissapointed because of the lack of action and other details. Its only great if you're a hardcore fallout fan and the rating was a 6.5 so no. If you have not played fo3goty then you should go for that instead.
