in homefront do you have to have the online pass to play online multiplayer or do you have to buy the code. if i rent it online

Yes. A 'Battle Code' is need for full multiplayer. Without it your multiplayer character can only reach level 5. A 'Battle Code' cost $10 via Xbox live or PSN.

No, you do not need the online pass to play the multiplayer however with out the pass you can not exceed past level 5 and unlock new guns Ect. which may get boring.

Since THQ has taken the route that EA did then yes you'll need a pass most likely. Don't quote me on it though. If you get the game is does please let me know. I can only tell you what I've heard
