Is there going to be Multiplayer for Mass Effect 3?

It would be pretty good news and Bioware would be hyping it up if it were true. Logic dictates that no, there won't. Bioware specializes in single player epics and the game is big enough as it is to add a mediocre multiplayer to the package, they don't need to as the franchise already has a huge fanbase.
Plus see it from EA's perspective. Why add multiplayer now, when you can make a new game in the ME universe wth multiplayer as its main aspect.

There might be Coop in Mass Effect 3, but i sure hope there isn't any multiplayer.
Games like Mass Effect don't work with multiplayer. It will probably work out the same way Assassins Creed worked out, which from what i've heard, isn't good. I want an amazing Campaign. That's pretty much it. DLC would also be nice. But, please, no multiplayer.

Yeah as fluid as combat was in assassins creed the multiplayer was pretty weak. And don't get me wrong, I love mass effect, but the combat is just clunky duck and cover. It works with the single player but online would just be a bad idea.

There has been no offical word on the subject, and it is very unlikely that there will be any sort of multiplayer at all.
