Is this a long game as in like monster hunter where i would have hours of time to have to play.

on what console? Wii? um... Mario Galaxy would last a while if you want to get ALL the stars... but i'm not sure how long Monster Hunter is, so in comparison, it might not be nearly as long... So i can't say for sure...
