im talking about the difference between the online multiplayer & community of all three COD modern games (COD 4, mw2, black ops etc), difference between them ???

First off Black Ops isn't modern, it's set in the 60's so yes its more modern then the WWII counterparts, its no Modern Warfare.
The overall basic concept of online is the same on all newer COD titles, though of course most are playing Black Ops as its the newest version and many are still playing MW2 complaining that Black Ops is bad cause its not set in modern times.

the community for cod4 is very small, but depending on what you like to play, there'S never a problem finding a match, and most players aren'T jerks or little kids, you just have to put up with some people playing mods every now and then.

Call of Duty 4 is the best. I'll tell you that right now. And you know why? The maps are the perfect size and everything about them is perfect. And all of the other CoD games can't get it right.
There are differences between each game. But, they aren't very big differences.
CoD4 is the basic one to go off of for the next ones. Then WaW was the same thing, just not as fun and WWII. MW2 is pretty good. Going off of MW1, but not quite hitting the mark CoD4 did. And the BO. Black Ops is kind of what you'd expect with a Treyarch Call of Duty. It's kinda fun, but not as fun as an Infinity Ward CoD game.
There aren't a lot of differences between all of them. And the basic one is the best. Who would've thought...
