I haven't checked recently, but a year ago when I played my last online match, there were a decent amount of people when trying to find a match-up. And yeah, it is good online. Far Cry 2 is an intense "sandbox" -style FPS with a lot of action/adventure flair. Running and sliding behind cover. Having to rip shrapnel out of your body and patch yourself up with just gauze and a syringe while ducking bullets behind a mound of tires in a backstreet African village... an intense and unique gaming experience. I loved it. The single-player was very enjoyable, and the online mode doesn't disappoint either. The game in general was hit-and-miss for a lot though. But I say give it a try!--It's one of my favorite games.
