Yes. I think that there at least have been announcements that they'll add new characters at some point.

Jill Valentine and Shuma-Gorath on March 15th
New costumes on March 1st for Thor, Cap, Iron Man, Dante, Ryu and Chris.

The ones i know are Jill Valentine and Shuma Gorath but i dont know if they are out already, they will have more DLC in the future though, they just getting feedback from the community.
