Question: At what point did Sonic games start getting pointless?

Answer: Sonic and Knuckles... although I liked it, didn't feel the same... I think after Adventure it really took a dive. Sonic Rush picked the series back up on the DS, but then fell again... Dark Brotherhood was good, but it's not what I think of when I think Sonic. The game is supposed to be fast paced, not a turn based RPG... Unleashed would've been good... if it weren't for the unleashed part. I don't want to play God of War when I'm playing sonic...
