Question: i just bought a used ps3. it came with a aftermarket controller. how do i sink it? why wont my screen come up?

Answer: Well, to sinc a controller, you use the charge cord the PS3 console came with. As for your screen issue, you might have to set the PS3 to use a different AV cord then you're using now. Try using the AV cord that came with the console. You did buy a used console, however. There could be a problem with the AV cord they gave you or something along those terms. I suggest you contact the seller of your console if those tips don't work.
