Question: is Sony's PS4 a threat to Gamefly

Answer: It won't at first. Keep in mind that that they also said that all the features are still being developed and will be released in later updates. So the PS4 will be rather exclusive to PS4 games for a while until earlier-generation games are available on the GaiKai network. So Gamefly will still be the better choice for at least 2-4 years after the PS4 is released. But on the other hand, if you have multiple platforms, Gamefly will be a good choice to have anyway.
