Question: The Future of THQ...
Answer: Almost everything seems to have found a good home, I think Sega is perfect for Relic, and Ubisoft fits South Park quite well. It's weird that Deep Silver's parent company bought Volition, but if it means they'll be able to bring back some of their older franchises (Red Faction, Summoner) in addition to putting out Saints Row games I'll be really happy. Though it's sad when any company shuts down, and it's especially sad that no one bought Vigil. The Darksiders games weren't the best game ever by any stretch, but they were really promising. I thought for sure that EA might have wanted them, because their games seem like they would have fit well into the "EA Partners" program, and if not them I would have thought they would be a good fit for Nintendo to buy, since Vigil is obviously influenced by them, and they would have made a good second party dev for Nintendo, kind of like how Retro Studios is.
