Question: I rented elder scrolls oblivion with shivvering isles attached, will it still work with any oblivion game?

Answer: It should if the expansion is on the disc. Though sometimes those GOTY editions and other editions that include expansion content only come with a one time use download code for the expansion content, which wouldn't be included in a rental, so I guess it depends on whether the extra content is on the disc or not. Though if it is on the disc it will definitely still work with your current save, if that's what you're worried about.
