Answer: Yes Saturo Iwata already announced the next Smash Bros game at E3 2011 during his presentation for Wiiu, he said it will work both with 3DS and with Wiiu meaning cross platform play. He also announced that same announcement to the development team while on stage meaning they have just started working on it. Don't expect to see it til the 2nd year Wiiu is out at the earliest, and I mean the earliest. Most likely year 3 of Wiiu will be when its out.
