Answer: This is a mixed bag, ultimately doing negative things to promote something that should be seen as positive will never work. But there is a bit of economics to learn here. Insomniac is a game company. They make a product. In order for them to make games they need money. So they market said product to make money. Their interest is supporting the consumer base that supports them. If someone else is benefiting from their product but not putting in like the others they aren't really a part of their market so they don't care. A gamefly subscription doesn't entitle you to play any game you want for a flat fee. If the industry went this way games would be dead. You're view of self entitlement is the only thing I see wrong here. Your a consumer only when you purchase a product or service. FYI game companies don't want consumers like you and its understandable. As games get bigger this is a necessary step to define who is actually entitled to what features.
