Question: What is better? halo series, or call of duty series?

Answer: I say Halo. The CoD series has been bouncing back and forth between developers and, even though Halo is being done by another company, at least they are consistent in quality and don't need an extra Nazi Zombie feature to compensate for its lack of quality.
