I have a PS3 but i could get an Xbox to play halo:3. is having the 2 systems for 1 halo game worth it?

I am a fan of halo and personally, I think halo is worth getting an xbox 360 for and also on the marketplace you can get free demos of alot of games so it is probably worth it if you get a pre-owned one and xbox live is not required unless you want to play online with other players but you can still play on the same console with friends without live. I actually think button layout on xbox is more comfortable because it is similar to gamecube
