I have to say Call of Duty: Black Ops. It is the newest entry so their are still thousands of players playing it. I say Black Ops because it is the most packed Call of Duty game to date. It has a good campaign with a amazing story, a 4 player co-op mode Zombies, Wager Matches, Theater Mode, Combat Training and the Multiplayer mode. You can waste hours and all of the modes alone.

They are both amazing triple a titles and they are very different. It is much easier to pit battlefield and call of duty together rather than halo. Call of Duty is beginning to show its age unless they reinvent the wheel and create a new engine. Games are not meant to be futuristic though. How many games are futuristic in this market...not to many their are more games that are modern and in the past then anything. Halo is more cooperative and you have more customization abilities. COD is more arcade style, easy to drop in get a quick game and leave. THe pace is much faster which is why so many people love it. People dont want to be stuck in a game not knowing what to do, having to travel to worlds end to get to the battle. They just want to be thrown on a map with a gun and be able to get into the action as fast as possible. So if you like the fast pace shooters then COD is your spot if you like a more co-op and deeper experience then Halo is your answer.

Call of Duty: Black Ops had the best story out of previous entries. It took a different approach to they growing tired formula but the gameplay is more of the same. It is indeed fun and keeps you going after you beat it once or twice you prolly wont ever go back to it. Zombies is indeed my fav part of the bunch and is the best thing to happen to Call of Duty since Multiplayer itself. If you have a Mic and can get at least one other person with a Mic you will without a doubt love playing this 4 player co-op mode. Its challenging, it is fun and can be addictive. Even the joy of finding out which gun is best to upgrade can grab your attention. Multiplayer does have some value to it as well. With your standard matches coming in a less campers then Modern Warfare 2 you can easily waste hours here. Along with the addition of wager matches. My fav mode is still zombies as I spent hours playing it since launch and i still play it everyday mostly all day to this day.

It comes down to preference. Which system is your friends playing it on? Go with that. Are you paying for Xbox Live? If not maybe you should just got with the PS3 cause its friend if you are you mind as well go with the 360 since you have the party system and the fact that the map packs do come out a month earlier if you are really hardcore and need it fast. Controller really doesnt matter since you can get any controller for any system. I personally have it on the PS3 but that is just because my friends has it on their and I prefer trophies over achievements. It comes to personal preference.

Well like one person said back in the 1990's new games where like 30 dollars each. Compare the quality of those games to a quality of a game name and the price is worth it. What one should rage about is the price of the Vita and 3DS games coming in around 40 dollars or maybe 50 each. A lot of hard work is poured into creating games and we all know it which is why we keep going back for more. PS2 and Xbox games where 50 bucks and with a 10 dollar boast wee are getting a huge technical leap. Also if companies didnt sale their games at this price they would go bankrupt like so many companies are going through cause they can't reach a number of sales. So this is why we have Gamefly for us who cant buy every game. But think about this, if everyone in the world started using gamefly their would be no retail games being made due to the shear fact that companies would no longer generating income. If you brought a game for 60 bucks and you spent 200 hours in it, well you got your moneys worth.
