I have had gamefly for about 4 or 5 years and never got a game that didnt work. I have gotten games that were in bad shape though. I always treat the games I rent as if they were my own, since the last thing I want is for me to buy a game from Gamefly and its full of scratches or smudges.

I usuallt get my games 4 days after they ship, thats as long as there is no sundays in the middle of it.

ship it back about 4 days before it is released, if you want to be safe about it ship it a week before.

in any resident evil play through all the missions on easy, not worrying about ranks, then when you unlock all the good guns use your spare cash to upgrade them then replay it with your good weapons.
