I love the Resistance series, Killzone is also good. I enjoyed Brothers in Arms, although that's about ancient by now lol. Borderlands and Far Cry are also fun.

This isn't a video game problem imo. I watch a LOT of movies, and listen to a LOT of music. This is a trend for all forms of entertainment, imo. I mean, we live into a society where big-box companies are making the 3rd movie in the series before the first one releases. I mean, we still have Final Destination. If you talk to me about music... Heh. I will bash the heck out of mainstream music. I'll be bumpin my M83. What I think has happened, is people realizing they can make a profit easier with sequels and uninnovative games than something original. Which one has a better chance to give a paycheck: Call of duty Modern Ops Declassified Limited Edition With Fries 7 or something like Noby Noby Boy? I think that it's not that we're less innovative, it's that they aren't making them for the right reasons now. I support indie for all forms of media, especially music and games.

I want a goddamn game where you are the zombie and have to infect the world! Maybe there'd be different modes where you could have a zombie army or a survival mode where you have to infect as many humans as possible before dying... again. Add powerups and online co-op, and this could actually be cool.
