why does it practically take over a week to receive and ship games, when netflix only takes like a day or 2?

The reason for this delay is simply because of the shipping warehouses. Gamefly has around 4 Warehouses across the country where Netflix has something like 50. when a warehouse is closer it take less time to get from one place to another. And i also believe is has something to do with the way Gamefly ships the games, i believe they ship normal and not 2days like Netflix.

Depending how your location to the closest Gamefly Warehouse and where the game is actual shipping from, it could be as long as 6 days before you get a new game. However if at any point, a certain trips take longer than 14 days you should report the shipping problems under "My account" to resolve the issues.

Well their could be many of reasons why Gamefly has not yet recieved the game. but According to Gamefly rules, if it does not get to one location or the other (i.e your house or the company) after 14 you can report a shipping problem, which is located under "My Account" on the left hand side under "Report a Shipping Problem". Their you can following all the steps to get it resolved.

That is a question that cannot be answered here, it is something you have to take up directly with Gamefly. http://www.gamefly.com/help/Default/Contact/ is the page where you can email them directly. in most companies however, is may take up to an entire month before canceling.

Four games a month is more in mind for a family rather than an individual. So if you are the only one playing the four games, the question is, Do you play that many games at once? or is the wait time between games too long?

Sorry to let you know, but Mass Effect 1 will NOT be coming to the PS3 at any scheduled time. However the game is still a great stand alone game. But if you have issues with the 360 no worries since the series is available on the PC, and since it is on the PC it is cheaper and you will not have to worry about multiple discs. Steam currently sells both of the games, if you wanted to get it on PC. Hope This Helps!
