On February 7th I received the email that my center would be changed to Kansas City City, Mo. "Starting this week, you may notice that the return address on your GameFly mailer will be Kansas City, MO. We're pleased to open this new Kansas City Shipping Center as part of our continued effort to improve mailing times for members across the entire United States. Your area will be supported by this new Shipping Center. Depending on inventory availability, you may continue to receive some shipments from one of our other Shipping Centers. We expect your shipping times to improve over the next few months." Games started arriving from Kansas City, Mo on February 27th. I can't say it has been any faster than the Austin, TX location. At least it hasn't been any slower.

Games will normally take 2-4 business days (weekends & postal holidays do not count) to arrive to you, but should never take longer than 7 business days. Since your game was shipped out on 3/22, you can expect that game to arrive between 3/26 and 3/28. If the game has not arrived within 7 business days it may be lost in the mail and you will need to report it as lost. Hey ChetoMan! To return a game just follow the steps below. 1. Place the game disc in the paper sleeve. 2. Place the paper sleeve in the cardboard protector. 3. Place the cardboard protector into the pre-paid return envelope. 4. Remove the address flap that has your address on it. Throw it away. 5. Pull the plastic strip off the envelope and seal it. 6. Place the envelope in any USPS mailbox. Your own home mailbox will work just fine. Your next available title will be automatically shipped once GameFly receives and processes your return. The $1.00 is a temporary authorization placed on your card to make sure it is valid. That temporary hold will be released by your card holder normally in 3-5 days. All rental memberships are subject to state sales tax. That accounts for the remaining difference.

While frustrating to not receive the game you want, here is why that happens. Games are sent first based on availability, then by the order they are in your GameQ. Game availability, however, is not in real time, it is only an estimate of GF's entire stock. Even though a game may be listed as "Available Now" or "High", that may not be entirely accurate. While the game might be available at one distribution center, it may not be available from the center your games are shipped from. In that case you are sent the first available title in your GameQ that can be sent from your distribution center. No matter what a game's availability says, members who have had that game in their queue longer than you, will always get the game first. The longer a title has been in in your queue, the better the chance you will get that game shipped to you. Never add a game to your queue that you would not be happy to receive & play as ANY game in the queue could be sent no matter its position.

Yes, when you keep a used game you will be sent the case, manual, and anything else that was included with the original game. That includes online codes.

No you do not have to be a member to buy games here. However non-members must pay shipping on purchases, whereas members receive free shipping. Members also get discounts & coupons for games.
