If you answer a question you get 3 points and if you get the best answer it's worth 9 points and at a certain amount of points you go to silver rank then to gold rank. so points aren't good for anything but ranks.

It depends on your plan you may only be able to have 1 game at a time or the game is in high demand and you cant get it until you are on the top of the list.
