Cute game, and another great one from Frontier

Really cute game for everyone. My three year old daughter has a blast feeding the animals, spraying them off, and interacting with the monkeys. Overall this game has a very beautiful and authentic experience for everyone of all ages and provides a very fun game for anyone to enjoy. Also enjoy the power of the Kinect in this game to interact with all the animals for example: reaching your hand down and picking up food to feed to them. Also would like to mention that you can interact with animals that will actually Mimic you on the Kinect Sensor. You can see your reflection in the mirror and play with the animals to mimic you. The Kinect gestures makes the game even better and definately Frontier does not dissapoint in this experience. If you are curious about Frontier, they are the developers who provided you awesome games such as Rollercoaster Tycoon, Thrillville, Kinectimals for the 360, and Kinect Disney Land for the 360.

Overall, this game is beautiful, cute, and very fun to play and DEFINITELY worth a try.. Definitely a 9/10 for me.

Fun Game, horrible menues

Zoo Tycoon was a fun little game and my first "next gen" experience. I really enjoyed how seamless you could zoom from the overhead management view, to the 3rd person zookeeper view. The animals had really neat AI and felt real. The kinect iterations were also used in a great way, to actually feed and play with the animals in a natural way.

However, all of the positives could not overcome the pain of filtering through menu after menu just to refill a feeding or watering station. This was so frustrating and time consuming that I gave up playing the game after the initial enjoyment wore off.

All around, this game is fun for the type of game it is. But if you played the Zoo Tycoon on the PC back in the day, then its a let down.

Good: The graphics are great and setting up the parks is really fun. The interaction with the animals is really fun for the kids too.

Bad: The focus and goals of the 'themed' parks are a bit steep. Too many mini exhibits cut the variety short for the big exhibits.

Ugly: Too many breeds for same general type of animal and not enough diversity with the animals. It gets boring with the little selection of animals. Why would anyone want to go to park the 5 different type of Giraffe?
