Recently, I rented another Zatch Bell video game. This game was "Zatch Bell: Mamodo Fury". I have to say, this game was exteremely unsatisfactory. "Mamodo Battles", is quite a bit better, but still has a ways to go.
Graphics:3/5-The game's graphics are not going to wow anyone, but are better than on some other games, most notably its twin, "Mamodo Fury".
Gameplay:3.5/5- I think the fighting system is rather well-developed, and is entertaining, especially if you play VS. mode with a friend. The moves are rather few, though, and get repetitive quickly.
Story:N/A- This game has a small story, but it is so background that it is not a key part of the game.
Multiplayer:4/5-The VS. mode was the most fun part of the game. The competitive flare it created was enjoyable. It is sad that you cannot play with more than two, but the mode more than makes up for it.
Final Score:3.75-Slightly Above Average-This game is better than the run-of-the-mill game, but not by a huge amount. I thought it was enjoyable, but I would not have paid full price for it. This game is a fun rent, and could be a buy for HUGE Zatch Bell fan.
