Fresh, New IP & Great Use of Wiimote

While I do love the Wii so far and there are some great experiences to be had, original IP based titles that use the Wii's strengths are few and far between.
This game looks like it is going to be for kids, but it is in no way just for kids. The graphics are stylized toward the wii's strengths and they look kiddy, but that is part of what makes the game enjoyable.
This is a great game, but I DO NOT agree that it is an Action Adventure game like the Gamefly Category indicates. There are some action/adventure elements, I would argue that this game is as much of a puzzle solving game (think trying to figure out a puzzle in a Zelda dungeon room) as anything.
You find yourself going from area to area trying to get to a treasure chest. The treasure chest is only accessible by using the environment around you in a point/click type adventure. The game reminds me a lot of Lucas Arts Point & Click type adventure games in that you click on an item to pick it up. You have to figure out how to use each item to interact with some part of the level to make something happen.
I'm 10 hours in and, while the game is very challenging sometimes, I'm loving it. Difficulty is moderated by the fact that the game provides you with the opportunity to buy tips from a fortune teller-esque person.
Rent this one. I went out and bought it because I want to encourage companies like Capcom to take chances on Wii by making new IPs for the console. Enjoy!
