sad day for a good game

its a sad day for a good game when a "Balanced" deck means that almost every monster from level 1 to 8 has some "hidden ability." now, i'll admit that i haven't kept up since the "good old days" when yugi moto was still on air in the US, but from my brief exposure to this game, i can tell that the goal of yu gi oh has become to make as many moves as you can in one battle phase. once your deck is constructed, the battle itself is mindless. often you have no choices. just terrible.
