Ys: The Oath in Felghana for PSP

An adventurer returns home hoping to find to peace, but finds only more adventure as the Ys RPG saga continues. After spending eight years exploring the world, Dogi returns home with Adol to find his hometown in chaos. Threatened by volcanoes, ringed by monsters, and ruled by an unforgiving lord, Dogi's home has fallen on dark times. As the friends search for the reasons behind the town's struggle, the answers they find lead into a deeper mystery, one that could engulf Felghana and the entire world beyond. This is the second Ys game to be reborn on PSP. It features 3D battles, streamlined play, fully voiced cutscenes, and more.

This game is an action rpg in its simplest form. You play the hero, Adol, and you hack and slash your way through the bad guys. The battle system is very simple, but a ton of fun.
