Although it is rather cool that you can look at the game pad and see things like calories burned and how much time is left of a work out, I felt that they didn't utilize anything that the WiiU can offer to make this a stand out work out "game".
One of the key questions I ask when I look at a workout game is "can I cheat?"
And in this game you can sit and watch move the controller a little bit and get a very good rating. So if I can cheat that bad, the next question is "How do I know if I am doing the exercise properly when I am not cheating?"
There used to be a camera that told you that, where did that go? It was very hard to cheat with that version but now it is gone.
I'm waiting for the WiiU fit to come out. Being made by Nintendo, I'm sure it will utilize more of the features of the WiiU than this game.
I gave it an above average simply because there are some very good programs for all kinds of different areas of the body. It IS a good workout, but without knowing how do to some properly, and without having a trainer in the room telling me that (which is why we buy these games, we cannot afford a trainer) The game is too easy to either "cheat" or hurt yourself not doing the workouts properly
