As far as the story goes, there's nothing impressive. In fact, it's the exact same as the original Yoshi's Island on the SNES. However, that doesn't mean that the game isn't enjoyable. It's still a very fun game and a great trip to Nostalgia-Land for those who have played the original. There's some collection elements that can get you back into already completed levels to find some things you may have missed the first time in your quest for 100%. There's also a special bonus stage where you get a heap of 1-ups if you collect medals at the end of stages. Not that you'll need them, because the game is extremely generous with 1-ups, (I finished with over 200 lives) so you won't have any trouble completing it, as most of the game is fairly easy. I enjoyed the game as a whole; the art style, the music, the controls. But I wouldn't grade it higher than the original. It gets a 7/10 from me.
