Why did this get such poor reviews?
Advertising? The lame name that connects to nothing?
The flight controls for this game are great. You have to learn different techniques for hover mode and for standard flight mode, but the game gives you reasonable time to learn them before forcing you to use them to full potential. When you learn to quickly change between flight and hover and back to flight you will be able to turn on a dime and shoot an enemy down before he completes his barrel roll. Restricted elevations for hovering are a pain, but add realism to the flight sim system.
The only flight glitch issue I found was during standard flight having a maximum height in standard flight mode. Once you hit the max height the sim would hold your ship there for a few seconds allowing only limited response, like flying up into a cloud of Jello.
The combat weapons system was easy to learn and transfer between the optional weapons.
A follow up game to this could include player control of which weapons and he wanted to buy.
Low points of the game:
1. Defined borders that the enemy can fly through, that turn you around and send you back into the play zone during combat.
2. Bonus points that get you nothing but a look at enemy ships in a 360 mode.
3. Inability to customize at all.
4. No chance whatsoever of a Yager 2, to remedy the problems and add some storyline to the likely end of the game.
