I bought this game not too long after it was released, and it is one of my favorite fist person shooters. The storyline is very well written out and keeps interesting. It's also a good length as well, not too short, or not too long. It doesn't have much replay value, but the story mode is just fun to replay numerous times. The multi-player is solid as well, as the difficulty of the bots is pretty customizable (assuming you don't have any friends to play with, or a multi tap to play with up to 4 people). The levels and weapons are fun too. The cel-shaded graphics are a nice touch, as is the onomatopoeia (it gives it the ultimate comic book feel). overall the graphics aren't amazing, but they are nowhere near bad. I have no real complaints about this game, I highly recommend it to any first person shooter fans.
XIII was a very decent game. I nice change in style with graphics and display. However, the only hang-up I have with the game is that when needing to use stealth, you get noticed incredibly easy, having to restart that section of the level all over again. More often then not, the patrolling soldiers/enemies spot you even if you're just barely peeking around a corner. Some would argue that it's realism, but this is a game, meant to be fun, not too frustrating to play.

I really wanted to like this one. The graphics are really nifty in that it keeps a comic book feel throughout. The problem with this game is the controls. After a minute or two of playing, I had a monstrous headache and felt like I had motion sickness. The movement is very jerky. If you can get over that, than this may be a decent game. The longest I was able to stick it out was about 10 minutes.
What can I say...this game is just different. I picked up for less than 5 dollars and there are still people playing online. Don't expect much but a straight shooter with quick gameplay. If that is what you enjoy then I would check this game out at your local retail store rather than renting.
