Good, little repeatitive

I like the combat in this, it could use a lock on feature, block seems to be the only way to face an enemy all the time, but the skills level up is nice, and lunge is quite a lot of fun. The game bounces back and forth in time (some how you retain your abilities gain in the future but have to work more on them in the future from the past...brain...hurt... paradox...) but it evens out enough that it's enjoyable. The environmental kills are nice, sometimes too easy when you can just keep chucking guys off the same cliff. Bosses are fairly unique, but can become repeating mobs later in the game. Being attacked during finishing moves can get annoying, especially with high damage rockets. Over all it's a decent game, and well done cut scenes-o-plenty. I'd say it's worth a play through. I would give it a 7.5 if I could. but it gets the benefit of the doubt and I'll go with an 8.
