This game was a total surprise to me. I didnt expect much because movie tie in games are usually a let down, but this game is outstanding. The controls are good, the fighting system is good and its nice and bloody. The only problems with the game is that the boss fights can be a little boring and repetitive and the puzzles are so simple they could have been cut from the game in favor of more fighting. Despite how great the game is, I wouldnt buy it but rent it. You will beat it in a couple of days and it doesnt have online play to justify repeat playings. Great game, rent it.

I have played the other X-men games and was sadly disapointed in all of them. This one takes a new turn to the games. This is more realistic then the other few x-men games. This game does follow the storyline of the movie but goes into more of the fight scenes.
This game is a must to buy if your into the one vs hundreds type of games. Some things it may lack is that is works around alittle things in the movie. Don't most games based on movies do?
This game is worth $50~$60 to buy. It is alot of fun and i'm still playing it now. I would say it take about a good ten to twenty hours to beat this game. There is a surprise if you beat the game on the hardest mode. I won't ruin the surprise for the people.

A Fun Distraction

This game reminds me of the old beat um up games that I used to play as a kid. Double Dragon 2, Final Fight, etc.

During the week I have trouble playing games much more than 20 or 30 minutes between work and my other responsibilities so RPG's and other slow paced games are out of the question. This game is fun and can be played in short bursts, your objective is to kill everything so don't worry about getting lost in the story if you put it down for a while.

Lots of blood, and hilarious finishing moves that are easy to pull off without having to memorize a long series of button presses. The game developer didn't wimp out and go for and E rating. I'm not sure how you can reasonably expect a game about a killing machine with built in razor claws and not include some gore. Its not going to challenge you mentally but this game is fun, and that should count for something.
