I enjoyed this game it was fun for the most part easy achievements if your an achievement junkie like myself. Only problem i had was the second time you go threw the game you cant skip the pointless cut scenes and it's short i finished it in 6 hours. F.I.Y. The easiest way to get the "beat game on x-tream difficulty" achievement is go to the load screen start the final mission play through and there you go. one more suggestion start with the shadow power its awesome.

Something slightly new

First off this not a sequel to x-men legends, this is a new adventure where you control a new mutant and shape his or her destiny.

The story in X-men destiny is simple you start off as a seemingly normal human who soon discovers you are a mutant. This is where the game gets fun you choose which of three characters along with a new mutant power to mold anyway you want.Aside from coming to terms with your mutant power you have the decision to pick what faction to join the X-men or the Brotherhood, fighting against or with some of the more known characters in the x-men world.

While the the story may not be as interesting as it could, the combat system keeps you on your feet, you start with a core ability that through XP can be applied for further powers and abilities. Also, through the course of the game you collect "x-genes" special powers and abilities belonging to members of both the x-men and brotherhood.

Being that you have three characters to play as and different story lines depending on your choices the game's replay value is good so if you're a fan of X-Men or comic books in general pick this one up.
