As racing games and sims go this is one of the more unique games around. Being a NASCAR fan and having my own race cars on a local dirt track here, I tend to review these types of games harder than most. While the soundtrack is annoying at best it is not the selling point of the game. The engine sounds are some of the better I have heard. It almost sounds like our Sprint cars on the track. The AI is very good the random actions of some of the cars operated by the AI is close to what happens on the track in life. I have been in and operated race cars scince i was very young and this is the first racing game dealing with an Oval series that has almost hit the mark perfectly. While you cannot adjust the cars exactly as we do in real life it has come very close. It would not be very hard for an inexperinced person to enjoy this game. In the Arcade mode you can race with one of the real cars that run the circut. This mode allows the novice to get their feet wet. In the carear mode if you dont use the cheats it will take you awhile to get competitive enough to win often. Overall this is a game I would add to my collection. As racing games go it can get boring going in circles for most people. But those of us who race on dirt in real life it is a way to really try new things that might actually apply to our local dirt track. This game is more simulation than most it looks and sounds alot like Grand Tourismo..But thats fine with me...
