In the past few years, poker has taken America by storm. In Activision's World Series of Poker, they capture the event in stunning fashion.
The game's high point comes in the Create a Character Career Mode. While the creation part is very limited, the actually career is very extensive. As you character, you can compete in numerous WSOP events including various version of Omaha, Seven Card Stud, Razz, and the infamous Texas Hold 'Em. You play the events like the pros. You must pay an entry fee and try to win money to keep your career as a professional poker player alive. Along the way, you will face pros like Chip Jett, Men the Master, and Chris "Jesus" Ferguson.
The only bad part of the game lays in the commentary. Many of you will wanna play this game on mute as the announcers will drive you crazy with the same line over and over again. You characters vocabulary is limited also.
But, the amount of achievements available will keep you striving to the best Poker Player you can be!
It's a very good game but I do think the graphics and player detail could be better. It doesn't seem very much design or detail was thought of and seems to have been rushed in development..
But addictive game play and mixed difficulty is fantastic..
