This game was surprisingly good for just a poker game. I had a lot of fun with the main tournaments which last quite a while as well as the heads up playing, you can really tell the difference in the way the computer plays depending on the player and if you are playing them in heads up. Overall I loved this game and wouldn't mind actually buying it to play whenever your just sitting around or have some free time.
The first few day i played this game, it was pretty addictive, but after you beat the tourney, it kinda gets boring because there arn't many options you can do in the game and it just gets boring. Also, the only thing the computer does is raise or fold and that kinda gets annoying. I wouldn't recommend this game but if you wanna try it out, go ahead.
Very very disappointing. I'm a pretty big poker fan. I understand basic strategies and have been trying to find some kind of handheld game where the AI plays well. This is not the game for that. There are CONSISTANT betting patterns that you can pretty much win any hand just because you know when they've flopped something. And the betting is also horrible. They only double the size of the bet in front of them, and there are maniacal raises consistantly. The console version is much better. If you are looking for a poker fix cause you are going out of town and want a portable game, then yeah. But you will be let down time and again. Odds are you will turn it back in after the trip because it blows.
