Freezing and lockups plague this game

I bought the game and was really looking forward to it but I'm having trouble finding the desire to play when faced with all of the lockup issues I've had. If you've played and not had any/many, you are really lucky judging from what I've read online.
So be warned that you're likely going to have problems until Activision addresses them.
My first impressions are mixed. I've played Wolfenstein way back to the original MUD (which no one seems to remember) so I was really looking forward to this. The graphics are lackluster but the sounds and AI of the mobs are great.
Until I can play more (without crashing constantly) I can only give this a 5.
