Soon after Geralt successfully slew a griffon at Microsoft's Xbox pre-E3 presentation video, he takes its head to Novigrad, the biggest city in the land. There, he trades the trophy to a mobster spy for information leading to an ashen haired girl. This kicks off the gameplay presentation for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and gives players a first look at the massive world that awaits them in the third and final chapter of Geralt's story. CD Projekt RED and Good Old Games are in the midst of holding a joint press conference and the developer is wasting no time bringing good news. The Polish studio has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will arrive on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on February 24, 2015. Read more

CD Projekt Red co-founder Marcin Iwinski says The Witcher 3 might have a slightly higher resolution on PlayStation 4, but that the difference is negligible for gamers and really only matters to Sony PR and console fans. Read more

Cinematic trailers rarely have much to do with the game they advertise because, well, story rarely has much to do with games. A new cinematic trailer for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, however, seems a fair representation of the moral dilemmas and mass murders we expect from CD Projekt RED's RPG, just prettier and slicker than the game will be. Though CD Projekt RED has only released two video games, it's fast become one of the studios I'm most excited about. And now it's growing. The Polish developer today announced it's opening a new studio in Kraków, which will be helping out on its jolly exciting upcoming RPGs Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Read more
