Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful looking game. But combat and basic controls can get cluttered and confusing quickly.Navigating the game world also suffers from this issue as well.
I get that combat needs to be challenging, but it should be challenging from a tactical standpoint, and not from the combinations of buttons and menus one has to go through to do that. A game like Skyrim never made me feel like that - it flowed a lot better then this game in terms of basic controls and combat mechanics.
The lack of a "fast-travel" mechanism is exceddingly annoying as well. In a game like this, I don't want to see the world over and over unless I want to - I want to get to the meat of the game quickly.
Besides being "pretty", it does have a semi-coherent main story line going for it. But the other issues I've covered dampen my enthusiasm for it some. I wouldn't likely buy it, but if you have more patience with the game's mechanics, then it might be worth a rental.
well i rented this game thinking it was going to be amazing..... and well it started out pretty cool and then i got started on the game... this game has a terrible way of navigating through the menu, options and quest... i have barely started the game and i am going to send it back due to the fact im running around not really knowing where to go its like skyrim but with no trackers.. well no where near as big as skryim but you get what i am saying anyways definitely something rpg fans should rent but not buy
