Excellent graphics, fun controls and gameplay. In single player there are sooooo many levels. This game will definitely keep you busy for a long time. You are rated with bronze, silver, gold medals which also would keep the game lasting long in terms of replay value. You can add your own custom 30 track soundtrack to your MUSIC folder on your Memory Card. I love this feature. (Add up to 30 mp3 tracks in a folder called "WIPEOUT" inside your "MUSIC" folder. The main reason I like this game a lot is that there is online gameplay. There aren't a whole lot of people playing this game online but you can manage to get a good couple games played. I found it easier personally to create an online game and let people join. I can easily get up to 5 or more games in 30 minutes or an hour sometimes, not bad. Disappointed that in some countries (from what I read) have extra content downloadable for use with the game. This is NOT available in the US. I purchased this game because it was fun, graphics are great, online play capability and custom soundtrack feature.

The game offer the ability to pick AI difficulty, the speed of the race before each match, which is a nice feature. You can also download and customize your car via the website as well. The loading is also faster too. Wipeout pulse is good futuristic racing game packed with variety of interesting features! If you like racing this game is a good candidate! Remember to play Eliminator mode in the custom race! The fighting is fierce since the criteria is to win by destroying the competitions!!!
