Winback almost winsback what it lost

While the story of Winback isn't exactly the most inventive of stories, you quickly forget about it as it takes the sidelines once the gameplay starts. The game has been ported from the original nintendo 64 version with a few improvements and some changes that would be better without.

To start the graphics took only a little bit of fine tuning and smoothing over, the games looks a little better but not much. In the ps2 version voice acting was added, dear god. The voice acting is a failure in every way possible.

The gameplay takes a basic duck and shoot style, you must rely entirely on your cover to survive. while this may be entertaining at first, it quickly becomes boring and repetitive. The game features a multiplayer mode to play with bots or with other friends. However, with it's duck and shoot gameplay playing with a friend who likes to rush in will quickly make the multiplayer rather unfun. Being forced to play a certain way by shooting once then running can discourage gamers from even trying.

Winback, while being a rather entertaining game to myself, has many problems with repetitiveness as well as the most annoying voice acting ever in the history of voice acting.

Granted the story isn't the greatest, but me and a buddy played the multiplayer for HOURS!

There's one guy on there we called Farmer Brown (dressed in brown clothes), it was a blast, i may have to get this one again! lol

Could have been better if the controls were fixed, but the gameplay wasn't half bad and the graphics were decent.
