An OK game with a bad reputation.

I feel that this game gets a bad rep more than it deserves. Sure, it's more of a tool than a game, but it's still a fun little distraction for about 30 minutes or so.
This was literally the first game I ever rented from gamefly, and that's exactly what kind of game it is. A rental. "Gameplay" consists of basically picking from a variety of instruments or a song you would like to play and then wagging your wii remote around like a stick.
On the upside, the game has a selection of decent songs such as "Daydream Believer" and "The Legend of Zelda Overworld Theme" that you can jam too, but they are all in a MIDI-type format. It might be fun for your kids.
Wii Music isn't great, but it does what it was trying to do. It's up to you to decide whether that is bad or good.
