I can completely understand the bad reviews this game is recieving among the other users, but in my personal opinion I love this game. The story line and in-game characters are a bit lacking but what they lack in story they definately make up for in world building and character custumization. I am at the point now where I can sit for hours and just work on combo's for each character and battle presets to play around with on different types of monsters.

I was a huge fan of the Final fantasy 11 style gameplay, and I think they hit the nail on the head with this game. Not a copy of ffxi but definately around the same feel. From the huge worlds to explore, to the Notorious Monster style battles and bosses that you get to fight, all the way down to the re-popping monsters to level your characters on.

I normally don't write reviews on games, but I felt I needed to defend the honor of White Knight Chronicles! Game on!

Good

A decent game but a terrible movie

This game has great character customization, equipment crafting and tweaking, and I loved making skill combos to try on bosses. The gameplay was fun when you got to it, and I have not had another RPG present a prettier dragon to assail with swords and spells.

However, I hated feeling like I was watching an incredibly slow and boring cutscene for more time than I spent actually playing the game. The dialog on this game is brutally slow, trite, and entirely forgettable.

i don't know why everyone is bashing this game... it deserves more credit than other people will tell you. The single player campaign is not too shabby but the online play is where its at. there are all kinds of weapons and armor you can make. you can make your own combo moves for max damage. a guild ranking system and repeatable quest you can go into to either solo or up to 4 people in a party. anyone who knows anything about rpgs would like this game and will prob play it 100 hours or more just on the online play. stop bashing this game its really good and everyone is just being a snob if they say otherwise. this game is clearly for the more hardcore gamers and rpg lovers. plus they are making a 2nd one right now so it cant be that bad if they have enough money to make a 2nd one.
