After reading reviews for White Knight Chronicles II, I learned that it actually contains White Knight Chronicles with major enhancements to a number of game features. Why wouldn't you just get the upgraded version?
Final Word - If there's a better version of the game out there, why wouldn't you just pick up that one? Grab White Knight Chronicles II instead of this one, since it's literally the same thing just better.

while i hate jrpg games and find them to be really pointless, this game proved why i hate jrpgs. a garbage targeting system that makes me wonder what was going on in the minds of the developers and maybe if they were too dumb to realize how bad the targeting system is in the game, heck you can be several feet away from a enemy, yet their attacks can still attack you, but you must be close to the enemy to hurt them, boring story line, nothin new in the story and the two giant knights were quite lame in my mind, attacks from them were nothing special, sad looking graphics, it was like playing a ps2 game but should have been a ps3 game...so glad that i rented this game.

It's really bad when you're quest tells you go find someone in a village, not hard, but when you fall asleep and find your character walking into a building I suppose that's the "wakeup call" that the game is just plain boring. Very similar to waking up and seeing a 100 zzzzzz's on the screen when you fall asleep at the keyboard (lol). I tried two different ways to play it (as a fighter and a caster) and it just didn't grab my attention.
