For John Beckwith (Owen Wilson) and Jeremy Grey (Vince Vaughn), life is a party - and they're determined to crash it. The thirty-something friends spend their weeks mediating divorces in Washington, DC and their summer weekends crashing weddings. The pair's perfected the art of sneaking into weddings uninvited and spinning different stories to woo unsuspecting bridesmaids. As wedding season's winding down, the two show up at the social event of the summer, the wedding for the daughter of a big-time politician (Christopher Walken). When John falls for one of the host's other daughters (who's engaged!) he convinces Jeremy to break their wedding crashing rules and go with him to a weekend party where he tries to find real love.
