Watch Dogs is a very enjoyable game; however, it's Wii U version is underwhelming. I decided to send it back to GameFly after a few days and purchase the game for Windows during a Black Friday sale on Steam. This decision was not based on the graphics, as some may assume, but rather the fact that the PC version allows for many more NPCs (and other features) on screen at any given moment compared to the Wii U version, which feels like a watered down version of the game (an attribute shared by many third party games that get ported to Nintendo systems, unfortunately).
By all means, play this game. Even purchase this game. In my opinion, it's worth the money. If you have a capable PC, though, I recommend the Windows version.

If this was a new game I might rate it higher, however it came out a year ago on all other consoles. You might think this means it's been polished, improved, and uses the gamepad intuitively? No, it barely uses the pad at all, and the pad can simply be completely ignored. Maybe it comes with the DLC? No, that's separate and costs extra for DLC that has been out for months.
Ubisoft officially on my shitlist. AC:Unity was awful, watchdogs is re-released crap, and I'm done until they actually work on one of their games.
